David Young, Director (LLB, BCom, CA)
David has worked in accounting, consulting and commercial business for
10 years. He began at KPMG where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant
and Solicitor before moving into commerce.
After consulting for several IT and Technology companies including Sony,
O2, The Skills Market and Guiton Group, he joined the start up broadband
company Bulldog Communications Limited in 2001. Initially employed as the
Financial Controller, then Director of Finance, he managed the finance team
from day one until the eventual sale to Cable and Wireless PLC in 2004.
He was involved all areas of company startup, strategic decision making,
financial control and reporting, tax, payroll and VAT, revenue assurance,
customer and supplier management, as well as day to day company responsibilities.
For the last 2 years David has remained with Cable and Wireless as the Head
of Network Build and Capacity Planning, managing the rollout of the largest
and most advanced broadband network in the UK.
